As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service while offering advanced technical assistance to your colleagues. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Collaboration:
- Provide outstanding customer service with a focus on user satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with other support teams to restore services and troubleshoot computing issues.
- Notify colleagues and team members promptly regarding any significant issues.
Physical Support & Professionalism:
- Capable of lifting and managing endpoint devices and peripherals (approximately 40lbs) while moving between support desks and employee workstations.
- Address cabling and wiring concerns under desks.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with colleagues, adhering to a business casual dress code.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and Apple hardware and software.
- Strong analytical skills to assess problems and identify effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and IT personnel.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, empathy, creativity, and integrity.
- An associate degree or equivalent experience in technology, hospitality, retail, or customer service-oriented fields is preferred.
- A+ certification or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience is advantageous.
