Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct a team of HVAC-R Service Technicians to meet service demands and customer expectations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the Commercial Service Department and increase revenue.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and inventory to ensure departmental profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate information and timely resolution of issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices to ensure the department remains competitive and efficient.
Requirements
  • Five years of experience in HVAC-R management or a related field.
  • Post-high school education from a college, trade school, or military program.
  • EPA certification and NATE and OSHA certification (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and clean background.
  • Ability to work non-standard schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
