Job OverviewWe are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a solid background in legal billing and accounts receivable management.
Key Responsibilities- Experience Requirement: A minimum of three years in a law firm setting is essential, with five years being highly desirable.
- Invoice Management: Oversee the prompt preparation and dissemination of client invoices on a monthly basis.
- Cost Recovery: Ensure all advanced costs and reimbursable expenses are accurately billed to clients without delay.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues within the firm to facilitate a seamless billing process.
- Accounts Receivable Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the Firm's accounts receivable, which may involve multiple follow-ups via calls and emails.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with Firm Partners and the Finance Manager regarding any collection issues.
- Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Finance Manager.
- Legal Billing Experience: Previous experience in legal billing is mandatory.
- Adaptability: Must be able to adjust to last-minute requests efficiently.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous.
- Preferred Software: Experience with Tabs3 and ProLaw is preferred, although proficiency in other billing software will be considered.
