About the Role

Atlas Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a C5I Subject Matter Expert. As a key member of our Information Technology team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support for Microsoft and Red Hat Linux-based software installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate C5I USCG issues and provide direction and guidance on various systems, including ADNS, CANES, NMS, and CENTRIXS-M.
  • Support and perform ADNS and NMS Readiness Assessments (RA) and System Operability Verification Tests (SOVT).
  • Work with Government and Industry Partners on scheduling and planning, and perform capture management on USCG C5ISR opportunities.
  • Support back fit and modernization efforts for ADNS and NMS upgrades, and work closely with NIWC Atlantic Sustainment and Acquisition Government leads on requirements and schedules.
Requirements
  • United States Citizenship
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Security Clearance (TS)
  • Ability to travel to USCG locations both ashore and afloat
  • Ability to work with others in a highly collaborative environment
  • Express ideas clearly and diplomatically
  • Work efficiently and proactively without constant supervision
  • Possess passion for providing an excellent user experience
  • Relevant experience in a DoD or DHS environment is a plus
  • BA/BS in Information Systems Technology OR AA/AS and five (5) years of IT Service Operations experience
  • Minimum five (5) years Microsoft Server installation and configuration experience
  • DoD IAT Level II standards, one of which must be CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft, VMWare, or Linux Operating System certification
  • Previous Microsoft Certified Systems Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) (Windows Server 2008R2, 2012, 2016, 2019) is accepted
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity; Microsoft 365; or Microsoft Azure
  • CompTIA Linux+
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security), Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security), or Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
