We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health in Winter Springs, FL. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position supporting the MinuteClinic in Winter Springs, FL. As the largest retail healthcare provider in the nation, MinuteClinic offers the unique opportunity to deliver affordable, accessible, and comprehensive high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide primary and family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Complete administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
- Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
