About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Post Purchase and Checkout User Growth Analytics team at PayPal. As a leader in this role, you will drive business growth by uncovering actionable insights from vast amounts of data. The ideal candidate will have expertise in experimentation, analytics, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact results.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analyses of key business trends, presenting findings in clear, actionable presentations.
- Develop critical metrics and executive-facing dashboards to monitor business performance and track progress on high-priority initiatives.
- Collaborate with diverse functional teams to analyze performance trends, identify root causes, and solve complex challenges.
- Facilitate new product launches by designing test-and-control plans and implementing continuous monitoring to assess product performance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in an analytical role, with proven success managing teams of analysts or data scientists.
- Proficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and statistical tools, with advanced skills in SQL, data mining, and BigQuery analytics (Google Cloud).
- Extensive experience in experimentation, including designing, executing, and analyzing product or feature launches.

Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $204,600 per year, depending on location and experience.
