Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Risk Management Investigator to join our team at KellyMitchell Group. Based in Overland Park, Kansas, this position requires a strong background in fraud management and customer service.

About the Role:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential fraudulent activities, analyzing data to confirm or clear fraud.
  • Validate customer ID authentication and ensure compliance with fraud policies across business channels.
  • Evaluate trends related to fraudulent orders and identity theft, recommending preventive measures to mitigate risk.
  • Develop and implement policies to deter fraudulent usage, working closely with the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take inbound calls and referrals from victims of fraudulent activities, providing guidance to resolve issues.
  • Review documents and utilize internal and external tools to validate identity and assess fraud risks.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to improve processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • 1+ year(s) of relevant experience in fraud management, customer service, or a call center environment.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer in a Windows-based environment, including navigating multiple screens and programs simultaneously.
  • Strong phone communication skills, including excellent conversational English and active listening.
  • Experience with tools like Slack for team communication and document review for identity validation.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $62,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as 401K options.
