Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Provide service to customers by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices.
  • Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors and electric motors.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
  • Process job tickets and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Provide training to new or less qualified technicians as needed.
  • Maintain proper truck inventory and drive company vehicles safely.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of single systems, rack systems, display cases and walk-in boxes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer controls.
  • Good mechanical skills and communication skills.
