Responsibilities- Provide service to customers by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies of mechanical equipment to ensure quality work performance.
- Process job tickets and work orders in a timely manner and provide necessary training to new or less qualified technicians as needed.
- Maintain proper truck inventory continuously and drive company vehicles in a safe manner.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
- Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk-in boxes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer controls.
- Good mechanical skills and communication skills to build strong relationships with customers and management.
