Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices. You will also provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, and perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure quality work performance.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and overhaul equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices
  • Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure quality work performance
  • Process job tickets and work orders in a timely manner
  • Provide training to new or less qualified technicians as needed
  • Maintain proper truck inventory and drive company vehicle in a safe manner
Requirements
  • Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical
  • Working knowledge of single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk-in boxes
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer controls
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and management
