ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are in search of a Retail Sales Consultant who will support management in cultivating a customer-centric and product-focused sales atmosphere. KEY DUTIES:
  • Meeting company sales objectives by implementing effective sales techniques and sharing product insights with customers; recommending merchandise tailored to customer preferences.
  • Staying informed about ongoing promotions and sales; ensuring that pricing and visual presentation standards are upheld.
  • Adhering to merchandise handling, presentation, and loss prevention protocols, along with other responsibilities assigned by management.
  • Engaging in visual merchandising tasks, including monthly store setups and maintaining designated areas.
CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT:
  • Exemplifying and promoting the principles of Exceptional Personal Service, ensuring a consistent omni-channel experience.
  • Addressing customer concerns swiftly and effectively.
  • Facilitating smooth checkout experiences, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, returns, security measures, and other operational procedures.
  • Encouraging additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
  • Enrolling customers in loyalty programs.
  • Building robust customer relationships through personalized service and product expertise.
  • Maintaining regular communication with customers through the customer database.
OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY:
  • Assisting with restocking efforts to ensure the store remains well-supplied.
  • Supporting order fulfillment processes.
  • Contributing to visual merchandising initiatives and maintaining store cleanliness.
TEAMWORK AND GROWTH:
  • Encouraging an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Actively pursuing opportunities for personal development and constructive feedback.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • Willingness to learn company-specific technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Consistent attendance is essential to meet job requirements. Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Continuous walking/standing throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs during an 8-hour shift.
  • Frequent climbing, accounting for 34%-66% of an 8-hour shift.
