ROLE SUMMARY:

KEY DUTIES:
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals by utilizing effective sales techniques and sharing in-depth product knowledge with clients; recommending items based on individual customer tastes.
  • Staying informed about ongoing promotions and ensuring that pricing and visual displays align with company standards.
  • Adhering to merchandise handling and presentation guidelines, along with loss prevention protocols, as directed by Management.
  • Participating in visual merchandising efforts, including monthly store layouts and maintaining designated areas.
CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT:
  • Exemplifying the principles of Exceptional Customer Service, ensuring a seamless omni-channel shopping experience.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Facilitating smooth checkout processes, remaining knowledgeable about payment procedures, returns, security measures, and other operational guidelines.
  • Promoting additional purchases at checkout, including gift card options.
  • Enrolling customers in loyalty programs to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Building lasting relationships with customers through personalized service and extensive product knowledge.
  • Maintaining regular communication with customers through our database.
OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY:
  • Assisting in restocking efforts to ensure the store remains well-supplied.
  • Supporting order fulfillment processes.
  • Contributing to visual merchandising tasks and maintaining store cleanliness.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred.
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to company technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with customers, colleagues, and Management.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet job responsibilities. Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs during an 8-hour shift.
  • Regular climbing, approximately 34%-66% of an 8-hour shift.
