Job Summary

Ent Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist II/III/IV to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for various general ledger posting and reconciliation processes, third-party settlement processing, and month-end closing duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post, analyze, and reconcile activity for assigned accounts to ensure accounts reflect the appropriate balances and postings comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Perform assigned month-end processing and closing duties, including analyzing, assessing, calculating, and posting accruals for assigned income and expense transactions.
  • Prepare various schedules for regulators, auditors, and regulatory reporting, and participate in core release testing and assessments for accounting-related functions.
  • Provide technical support and cross-coverage of other Accounting Specialists' tasks, and remain cognizant of and adhere to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field of study.
  • 2+ years combined experience in an accounting function, financial services, member service, or related functions, including 1+ years' general accounting experience.
  • 2+ years experience in or relevant to the banking/credit union industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge consistent with Associates degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze transactions related to this position and make independent, relevant accounting decisions.
What We Offer

Ent Credit Union offers a competitive salary range of $22 to $28 per hour (S13), $26 to $31 per hour (S14), and $30 to $39 per hour (S15), depending on experience. This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
