Job Title: Technician II/III, Medium & Heavy Equipment

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technician II/III to join our team in the Fleet Division of the Department of Public Works. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance services, inspections, and minor repairs on medium and heavy vehicles, construction equipment, attachments, and auxiliary machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventive maintenance services, inspections, and minor repairs on medium and heavy vehicles, construction equipment, attachments, and auxiliary machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with medium and heavy equipment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of conducting preventive maintenance services, inspections, and minor repairs on medium and heavy vehicles, construction equipment, attachments, and auxiliary machinery.
  • Enthusiasm for taking on complex challenges in the field of medium and heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
