About the Role:
As an Outreach Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts that are nearing the final stages of the collection process. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in collections who prefer a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts approaching the end of the collection cycle.
- Evaluate accounts based on recovery potential, outstanding balance, and payment history.
- Initiate communication with account holders through various channels including phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Negotiate payment arrangements or settlements to recover overdue debts.
- Document financial statuses and collection efforts accurately.
- Update collection systems to reflect actions taken and outcomes achieved.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of recent experience in collections.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting financial documents.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while achieving performance targets.
