Football Coaching Opportunity at Lynchburg City Schools

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complies with district regulations and site protocols.
  • Imparts training on conduct, ethics, and sportsmanship to all players and coaching staff.
  • Ensures team safety during events and travel, including accompanying the team on transportation.
  • Confirms team members' eligibility with the Athletic Director prior to practices.
  • Oversees uniforms, equipment, and inventory management at season's end.
  • Works in conjunction with the Athletic Director and Principal to resolve program-related issues.
  • Prepares program evaluation reports and budget requests.
  • Ensures the safety of facilities during athletic events.
  • Advocates for the football program through media engagement.
  • Collaborates with fellow coaches to enhance the overall sports program.
  • Organizes an orientation meeting for parents and adheres to scheduling requirements.
  • Contributes to the competencies of Lynchburg City Schools.
  • Requires educational and coaching experience.
  • Essential skills include a successful coaching record and the ability to teach and uphold standards.
  • No supervisory duties are assigned.
  • Minimal travel may be necessary.
