Sports Journalism Opportunity

Lee Enterprises is seeking a skilled sports journalist to cover Division I athletics at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves reporting on various sports events, including football, basketball, and baseball, as well as assisting with Division III athletics and high school sports.

As a sports journalist with Lee Enterprises, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of journalists and develop your skills in photography and videography. We offer training opportunities for enthusiastic learners and prefer candidates with previous newspaper experience, but entry-level candidates with college experience will be considered.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field
• Previous newspaper experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
