Job Title: Research Project Manager

MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Research Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for overseeing research initiatives, coordinating projects, and ensuring the successful execution of research studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee research initiatives, including project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Coordinate with Principal Investigators, research staff, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Identify and secure funding opportunities to support research projects.
  • Prepare and submit grant proposals, progress reports, and other research-related documents.
  • Collaborate with research staff to develop and implement research protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a natural science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in research project management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a natural science or related field.
  • Experience with grant writing and research funding.
  • Knowledge of research regulations and compliance.
