Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of research development experts to implement programs for faculty development, outcomes research, quality and patient safety research, and clinical research methodology.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support faculty in garnering extramural funding and scholarly activity in defined academic focus areas and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with investigators, committee reviewers, and employees across the organization to achieve business goals.
  • Plan and organize day-to-day department operations, schedules, and activities to ensure high customer/patient satisfaction.
  • Drive department service standards and activities to impact department and/or system score for patient/customer-based satisfaction.
  • Provide executive leadership with timely and high-quality information, project, and initiative progress and metrics.
  • Manage equitable and fair prioritization of resources for competing initiatives in alignment with the institutional academic strategy.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree
  • Three years of experience in management is required
  • Three years in grant and faculty development, or related field
