We're seeking a highly skilled Environmental Strategy Specialist to join our team at DTE Energy. As a key member of our environmental strategy team, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development of cutting-edge renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and select standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to ensure environmental regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals to recommend and implement timely solutions involving routine engineering, design, operation, maintenance of company assets and market optimization.
  • Develop models and analyze data to recommend solutions and/or improvements in processes and programs.
  • Ensure environmental regulatory compliance by monitoring, reporting, developing, and implementing procedures and strategies.

As a Staff Engineer - Environmental Strategy, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from environmental permitting and compliance to renewable energy development and implementation. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about making a positive impact on our communities and the environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, primarily Excel and Word.
