Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Atria Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents, families, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering Calls and Messages: Respond to incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner, determining the purpose of the call and forwarding it to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Message Retrieval and Delivery: Retrieve messages from the voice mail system and forward them to the relevant staff members.
  • Welcoming Visitors: Greet on-site visitors, determine the nature of their business, and announce them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Guestroom Reservations: Coordinate guestroom reservations and maintain accurate records.
  • Mail and Package Management: Receive, sort, and route mail and packages, and distribute written communication to the relevant staff members.
  • Office Administration: Maintain the office supplies, assist with photocopying, and perform other clerical duties as needed.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect rent checks from residents and family members, and provide necessary information to the bookkeeping department for billing.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, families, and visitors, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with one to three years of related experience and/or training.
  • Basic First Aid and CPR Certification: Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required, where applicable.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with residents, families, and staff members on a daily basis.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
