Security Talent Acquisition Specialist

Inner Valor Inc is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our organization by identifying, attracting, and onboarding top-tier security personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to meet the increasing demands for security personnel, including security guards, supervisors, and specialized security roles.
- Implement creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates, including job boards, social media campaigns, partnerships with local schools or military organizations, job fairs, and employee referral programs.
- Manage relationships with third-party staffing agencies and recruitment platforms to maximize candidate reach.
- Conduct proactive outreach to passive candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, industry networks, and other innovative sourcing techniques.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to determine their suitability for various security roles.
- Maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future security personnel needs, ensuring a rapid response to staffing shortages.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting, initial contact, interviews, background checks, and reference verifications.
- Collaborate with operations and HR teams to ensure that new hires meet regulatory and client-specific requirements, including licensing, certifications, and physical fitness.
- Work closely with hiring managers to define key qualifications and ensure a smooth, consistent recruitment process.
- Lead the employee onboarding process, ensuring new hires are fully integrated into the company and ready for deployment as quickly as possible.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure completion of all onboarding tasks, including paperwork, compliance training, and security-specific training.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs that reduce time-to-deployment and enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Monitor the progress of new hires during their probation period to ensure they meet performance standards.
- Track recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source-of-hire, and turnover rates to continually improve the hiring process.
- Provide regular recruitment reports and metrics to senior management, including progress on open positions, candidate pipeline, and successful hires.
- Identify gaps in the recruitment process and suggest improvements to ensure consistent hiring success.
- Promote the company's brand as an employer of choice within the security industry.
- Develop engaging content for job ads, social media, and company recruitment pages to attract high-quality talent.
- Build relationships with educational institutions, military transition programs, and other organizations to create a talent pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of security personnel.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to recruitment and onboarding in the security industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in security, facilities management, or a similar service industry.
- Proven experience in high-volume recruiting and onboarding in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of security industry recruitment requirements, including licensing and regulatory needs for security personnel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship building and candidate engagement.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruitment management software.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop creative recruitment strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in recruiting for security services or similarly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of local and national security guard licensing processes.
- Experience with diversity recruitment strategies.
- SHRM or PHR certification.
