Job Opportunity: Mental Health Specialist in Washington State

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Washington State. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing integrated behavioral health treatment to clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations to assess mental health and physical health status
  • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, educating clients and their support system about medication purposes, dosage, and possible side effects
  • Collaborate with each client to create an individualized treatment plan
  • Educate staff, clients, and community partners about individual mental health needs
  • Foster a trauma-informed approach in all aspects of client care
  • Assess clients for safety and risk to self or others, taking appropriate crisis intervention measures when indicated
Requirements:
  • Master's or doctorate degree in nursing or nursing practice with psychiatric mental health specialization
  • Registered nurse license and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license in Washington state
  • Federal DEA registration
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
