Join our mission to safeguard our nation ManTech is on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Systems Analyst (ISSO) to become a vital part of our Air Force / Space team.

The primary role of the ISSO is to provide support for critical technical services.


Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to fulfill their obligations and responsibilities.
- Prepare, review, and update security authorization packages.
- Ensure established protocols are followed for the sanitization and destruction of various hardware and media.
- Inform the ISSM of any changes that could impact the security authorization of the information systems.


- Conduct regular assessments of information systems to verify compliance with security standards.
- Coordinate any modifications to hardware, software, or firmware with the ISSM and Authorizing Official (AO) prior to implementation.
- Oversee system recovery processes to ensure that security features and procedures are restored and functioning as intended.
- Maintain up-to-date security documentation accessible to authorized personnel.
- Collect, review, and document audit records, including any anomalies.
- Participate in mandatory technical and security training relevant to assigned responsibilities.
- Execute the cybersecurity component of self-inspections, providing security coordination and reviewing system assessment plans.
- Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and assist in implementing countermeasures.
- Prepare reports detailing the status of security measures applied to computer systems.
- Perform ISSO duties to support both internal and external clients.
- Conduct security impact analysis for all configuration management changes within the authorization boundaries.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in information security.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution, with the possibility of substituting 2 additional years of experience for a degree.

- Active DoD M IAT-II certification.
- Familiarity with DoD/USAF information security policies and practical experience applying Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
- Experience in developing and contributing to RMF documentation and associated control families.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, management, and clients, including the ability to deliver presentations.


Security Clearance:
- Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
- Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph examination.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move around the office to access files and equipment.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery.
- Frequently communicate with colleagues and clients, which may involve presentations.
- Must be able to convey accurate information in these situations.
