Job Title: Lead IT Project Manager

Job Summary:

Lead IT Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of technology projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence. This role involves overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple medium to large-sized projects
  • Develop and execute division project initiatives
  • Own, track, and report on key performance metrics for leadership
  • Work with project stakeholders to develop an objective-based comprehensive project plan
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with stakeholders, third parties, and vendors
  • Create, build, and update project schedules, project charters, status reports, and work breakdown structures
  • Track and report on financial data, performance, and status of multiple projects
  • Identify key project risks and manage them to ensure delivery of business goals
  • Facilitate and determine the resolution of project-related conflicts
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to corporate operational standards and processes
  • Ensure proper project closure, including lessons learned
  • Work with consultant staff performing project controls functions
  • Prepare IT project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Preferred Skills:
  • Proven track record of Data Center/Core Infrastructure technology build out and deployments
  • Security build out/deployments
  • ServiceNow PPM
  • Hybrid Waterfall deployment methodology
  • Fast-paced environment with enterprise-level deployment experience and juggling multiple priorities
Technical Skills:
  • One or more of the following skills are desired
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; Project Management; Root Cause Analysis; Sourcing; Stakeholder Management; Vendor Relationship Management
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development; Scrum (Software Development); Software Development Life Cycle
Soft Skills:
  • Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty
  • Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Intermediate - Ability to work independently

Compensation:

Pay range: $98,183.10 per year. Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field, or office work schedules.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
