Overview
The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of guest service during arrivals, departures, and all guest interactions. This role involves effective training, staffing, and supervision to ensure optimal guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee efficient guest registration, checkout, and telephone service while adhering to brand standards.
2. Implement company programs and prepare forecasts and reports to assist in budget development.
3. Monitor front office systems and equipment for optimal performance.
4. Track guest satisfaction and utilize feedback to enhance service quality.
5. Develop expense management controls and utilize labor management tools for scheduling.
6. Conduct interviews, hire, train, and evaluate staff performance while maintaining open communication.
7. Ensure compliance with front office and guest service policies, fostering communication with other hotel departments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or supervisory role.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficient in PMS systems and knowledgeable about brand reward programs.
- Strong financial management skills and computer literacy.
- Ability to handle customer interactions with patience and diplomacy.
