Position Overview: As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will be instrumental in leading and supporting the front office team in their daily responsibilities and commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service consistently
  • Maintaining a professional, inviting, and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Accurately managing guest inquiries and hotel bookings
  • Promptly addressing guest concerns and complaints with urgency
  • Responding to guest inquiries via phone or in-person regarding reservations and hotel information
  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure compliance with standard procedures by all team members while providing friendly and attentive service
  • Supervising and directing front desk workflows and processes, resolving issues, and coaching team members for seamless operations
  • Quickly addressing customer issues and inquiries to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Assigning rooms to guests based on preferences and special requests
  • Building strong partnerships and coordinating with other departments such as housekeeping and maintenance
  • Ensuring professional handling of phone calls, wake-up calls, and guest messages
  • Managing group arrivals and specific market segment groups, pre-registering guests, and ensuring accurate payments
  • Overseeing front desk cash transactions and personal banking responsibilities
  • Engaging in developing yield management strategies, marketing initiatives, and pricing
  • Keeping the front desk log updated and addressing any outstanding matters
  • Following check-in and security protocols to ensure guest safety and reporting any suspicious activities
  • Assisting other departments in serving guests, particularly during busy periods
  • Taking charge in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • Creating front desk schedules
  • Contributing to budget and forecast reporting
  • Ensuring accurate implementation of time and attendance policies and payroll
