Our Mission:

We offer a comprehensive range of software-defined radio products, innovative signal processing solutions, and complete mission payloads for advanced RF applications, including electronic warfare, radar, and communications. Our systems are customizable to meet diverse requirements, including bandwidth, dynamic range, and computational resources.

Your Role:

We are currently in search of a Quality Assurance Lead. The chosen candidate will join a dynamic, growing, cross-functional team. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations at a manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient processes in line with organizational policies and legal standards. The ideal candidate will continuously seek opportunities to enhance production methodologies and product quality through effective problem-solving, communication, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain departmental performance metrics.
  • Collaborate proactively with project leads and engineering management to resolve issues and coordinate resources.
  • Analyze and address operational challenges while fostering teamwork among direct reports.
  • Oversee test engineers involved in product testing and new product introductions.
  • Provide both technical and managerial guidance to test engineers to improve yield, reduce testing time, and enhance capacity.
  • Manage testing equipment and personnel to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet customer order deadlines.
  • Plan workforce and equipment utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
  • Recommend improvements for testing methods, performance, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with contract manufacturers on acceptance testing and root cause analysis processes.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
  • Review and approve testing plans and procedures.
  • Utilize manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Conduct interviews, hiring, training, and mentoring of personnel.
  • Support the development of team members' skills and encourage professional growth.
  • Manage personnel performance and evaluations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD TOP SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or 6-10 years of relevant experience; preferably in the aerospace or military sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, including test specifications and procedures.
  • Strong writing skills for reports and correspondence.
  • Effective communication skills for presentations to groups.
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions in various formats.
  • Problem-solving skills in standardized situations.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in monitoring and improving performance metrics.
  • Technical expertise in test automation and performance testing strategies.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues.
