Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to promote equitable faculty recruitment, retention, and development as Director of Inclusive Faculty Affairs. Reporting to the Senior Diversity Officer, you will partner with the Provost's Office and academic deans on strategic efforts to advance faculty diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-lead hiring committee trainings and equitably review faculty searches
  • Build mentoring and community-building programs for underrepresented faculty
  • Track and analyze data on recruitment, retention, and promotion
  • Consult on policies/initiatives for inclusive faculty development
Requirements
  • Masters or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in project planning, management, and community building
  • Demonstrated experience with developing, implementing, and assessing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Ability to work with deans and provostial administrators in navigating faculty matters
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience leading institutional initiatives in a higher-education setting
  • PhD
