About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in building and delivering the industry's best Security large language model.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage advanced machine learning techniques to detect and remediate network issues, discover threats, provide intelligence, and protect devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop workflow frameworks using AI/ML, with result collection and visualization, monitoring tools
  • Creation and delivery of training materials
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Design teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Requirements
  • M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent military experience
  • 10+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning techniques and data analytics
  • 10+ years of experience in design, algorithms, and data structures, with expertise in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Golang
  • Proven track record in solving difficult real-world problems by applying Machine Learning techniques
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, NLP, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Langchain, Transformer models, or related areas
  • Thorough understanding of ML Ops best practices, ability to design, test, measure algorithms/models, and orchestrate
