We are seeking highly qualified candidates for the Specialist Series position in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the University of California, Irvine.

Position Overview

The Specialist Series is a critical component of our department's research and clinical efforts. As a Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of researchers and clinicians to advance our understanding of mental health and develop innovative treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in psychiatry, neuroscience, genetics, imaging, or related fields
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and services
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to advance departmental goals
  • Provide education and training to students and staff
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field and have experience in psychiatry, neuroscience, genetics, imaging, or related fields. Junior Specialists should possess a baccalaureate degree or equivalent research experience, while Assistant Specialists should possess a master's degree or five years of experience demonstrating expertise in the relevant specialization.
