Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and development of clinical informatics solutions to support nursing practice and patient care.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize clinical informatics needs and develop strategic plans to address them.
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on the effective use of clinical informatics systems and tools.
- Conduct analysis and evaluation of clinical informatics solutions to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in clinical informatics and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in clinical practice.
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy licensure in NJ
- Graduate degree in pharmacy or related field
- 3+ years of clinical experience with progressive leadership responsibilities and 5+ years relevant informatics experience preferred
Certifications and Licenses:
- Epic Clinical Informatics Certification and Nursing ANCC/HIMSS certifications or relevant Pharmacy certifications preferred
Essential Functions:
- Provides operational support to local teams to deliver customer support, education, and implementation of clinical changes.
- Ensures rigorous documentation of problems, including audits, design sessions, planning, collaboration, and implementation activities.
- Maintains a culture of ethics, culturally congruent practice, and communication within the team and with external collaboration.
- Applies advanced information management skills and techniques to advance the scope of nursing informatics practice and education.
- Leads, designs, and executes on new research initiatives and analyzes data for new insights.
