We are seeking a highly skilled Research Imaging Specialist to join our Clinical Trials Imaging Core Lab at the University of California, Irvine. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of research imaging services, providing subspecialty research-specific interpretations, and collaborating with various departments within the University.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and provide subspecialty research-specific interpretations for IRB-approved clinical trial studies
- Review imaging requirements and components of incoming clinical trials for budgeting and efficient research operations
- Assist external departments in completing radiology-specific study initiation activities
- Provide assistance in writing, editing, and preparing manuscripts and proposal submissions
- Work closely with clinical expert physicians for image interpretation and advanced image post-processing
- PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree
- Terminal degree or equivalent degree, or ten or more years of experience demonstrating expertise in the relevant specialization
- Ability to perform research-specific interpretations, such as RECIST and medical research
- Experience in clinical trials imaging and research
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
