Principal Systems Engineer

As a Principal Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in creating innovative and cost-effective Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions to support our Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA) capability development.
About the Role
- Determine product or system requirements based on customer information and provide traceability to these requirements.
- Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
- Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable.
- Document and retrieve the source of requirements.
- Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program.
- Assess and track requirement changes for impact to the overall system and subsystems.
- Selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain special access program (SAP) clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of EW/Radar systems design and requirements engineering experience.
- Experience with system lifecycle and product maturity (design reviews, internal gate reviews).
- Experience with requirements management and/or developing Systems Engineering products.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital thread concepts.
- Experienced presenter preparing and presenting reports and briefings.
- Experience with Modeling and Simulation, agile DevSecOps delivery pipelines, software development principals, and Digital Thread concepts.
- Experience with tools such as Matlab/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.
- Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experience.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years.
