Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled Plastic Extrusion Technician who will play a crucial role in the operation of our extrusion machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic products. This position requires a thorough understanding of machinery operations and the ability to lead and guide support staff effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned extrusion machines efficiently to produce quality products.
  • Monitor product quality and make adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Oversee and instruct Operator Assistants in their daily tasks.
  • Interpret and apply technical specifications to ensure compliance.
  • Set up extrusion machines according to established procedures and product requirements.
  • Document production metrics accurately and consistently.
  • Demonstrate expertise in specific extrusion processes, such as Filler Rod or Foam production.

Position Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity, providing a pathway to permanent employment.

Work Environment

The role is based in a non-climate-controlled facility, with a rotating shift schedule that includes both day and night shifts. Initial training will be conducted during standard day hours before transitioning to a 12-hour shift format.
