Job Summary

US Conec Ltd is seeking a skilled Mold Technician to provide technical support to our production and engineering projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the quality and efficiency of our injection molding processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production and engineering projects related to injection mold adjustments
• Perform mold maintenance, troubleshoot quality issues, and make necessary mold changes
• Modify and adjust mold components to achieve acceptable quality levels
• Maintain accurate records of mold adjustments, maintenance, and changes
• Interpret plastic part measurement data and share results with the team
• Follow quality control systems associated with parts and tooling
• Assist with product and process qualifications as required

Requirements

• Minimum of Journeyman Mold Making or Apprenticeship preferred, along with an Associate's Degree in engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a medium volume injection molding manufacturing environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of injection molds, precision measurement devices, and basic manual shop equipment
• Experience working with small mold components and microscopes
• Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and creative thinking
• General PC skills with standard MS Office software
