Role Overview
As an AWS Advocate and Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and educating both technical teams and business stakeholders about the advantages, functionalities, and best practices related to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Core Responsibilities:
- Promote AWS: Serve as a passionate advocate for AWS, emphasizing its benefits and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization and the broader community.
- Develop Training Materials: Create educational resources such as presentations, hands-on labs, demonstrations, and documentation to effectively convey the value, features, and best practices of AWS services and solutions.
- Conduct Training Sessions: Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and webinars, both in-person and online.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with internal teams and AWS affiliates to identify needs, align content with business objectives, and tailor programs to meet specific requirements.
- Stay Informed: Remain up-to-date with the latest AWS products, updates, trends, and advancements to continuously enhance training content and share technical insights.
- Preferred AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
- Experience in software development is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience in designing, delivering, and overseeing technical training programs, especially focused on cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and AWS services.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- A genuine passion for continuous learning and a strong enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and empowering others to succeed.
- Job Type: Full-time Position
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
- Competitive Compensation: $120k - $150k
- Employment Status: Not considering Corp-to-Corp or employment sponsorship at this time
