Role Overview:

The Performance Analyst plays a crucial role in assessing and calculating the performance of a varied client portfolio, employing a range of performance measurement and analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compute, validate, and reconcile performance returns by leveraging custodial data feeds and statements.
  • Identify and resolve issues in collaboration with asset managers and custodians.
  • Design and implement proactive client reporting frameworks.
  • Gather portfolio characteristics for various investments from external sources.
  • Collaborate with Investment Operations colleagues to ensure accurate data for client-related activities.
  • Address client inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist Investment Consultants with various ad-hoc projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is essential, preferably in Finance or Economics.
  • Candidates pursuing CIPM or CFA designations are advantageous.
  • Internship experience or up to three years in Investment Consulting or the Financial Industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate Excel skills are mandatory.
  • Experience with CRM systems, Advent Black Diamond, Adobe, and custodial portals is beneficial.
  • A fundamental understanding of capital markets, including domestic and international equities, fixed income, and alternative investments is required.
  • A diligent professional with a collaborative mindset and a passion for teamwork.

Work Environment & Travel:

  • This position may require up to 5% travel for training and business events.
  • The role supports a hybrid work model, with three days in a professional office and two days remotely.

Physical Job Expectations:

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Communicate information effectively to ensure understanding.
  • Occasional movement throughout the office to access different areas.
  • Capability to lift equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
