Role Overview:
The Performance Analyst plays a crucial role in assessing and analyzing a wide range of client performance metrics through various analytical tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate, verify, and reconcile performance metrics by leveraging custodial data feeds and financial statements.
- Collaborate with money managers and custodians to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
- Design and implement proactive client reporting frameworks.
- Gather portfolio characteristics for various investment types from external sources.
- Work alongside Investment Operations colleagues to ensure accurate data for client-related activities.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests.
- Assist Investment Consultants with various ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Finance or Economics.
- Candidates pursuing CIPM or CFA designations are advantageous.
- Preferred experience includes internships or up to three years in Investment Consulting or the Financial Industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate Excel skills are essential.
- Experience with CRM systems, Advent Black Diamond, Adobe, and custodial portals is a plus.
- A solid understanding of capital markets, including domestic and international equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
- A collaborative mindset and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
