Key Responsibilities- Partner with local management and arborist representatives to develop and implement a comprehensive safety program
- Provide on-site training, mentoring, and supervision of crew members of all skill levels
- Ensure that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
- Conduct regular audits of crew, facility, and pesticide storage areas
- Develop and implement effective safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety risks
- Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments
- Safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling, and bracing
- At least five years of experience in the tree care industry
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
- Demonstrated ability to conduct group and individual training or prior crew leader experience
- Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated
- ISA Certified Arborist certification is preferred but not required
