The Hanover College Department of Art and Design seeks a visionary leader to serve as Chair, beginning August 2024. This tenure-track position offers a unique opportunity to shape the department's future and contribute to the college's mission.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Department of Art and Design in its academic and creative pursuits
- Develop and implement innovative curriculum and programs
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and excellence in teaching and learning
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to achieve departmental goals
- Represent the department in college-wide initiatives and external partnerships
- MFA or relevant terminal degree
- Commitment to inclusive pedagogy and valuing diversity
- Evidence of creative accomplishments and teaching experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
