County Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled County Maintenance Engineer to lead our Division 9 teams, programs, and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering and highway maintenance methods/techniques.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage, plan, and supervise all road maintenance and force account construction for Stokes County.
• Establish effective working relationships between NCDOT, the public, and local municipalities.
• Supervise and monitor highway maintenance program to ensure efficient and safe use of staff, equipment, and materials.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of Civil Engineering and highway maintenance methods/techniques.
• Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulations and implement them effectively.
• Project management experience leading multiple projects and scheduling/directing multiple work crews.
