Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at The Mohegan Tribe of Indians Of Connecticut. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families, including individual, group, and family therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial diagnostic intakes and assessments to develop culturally appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide counseling services, including intervention and relapse prevention, to clients with substance misuse issues
  • Develop and implement prevention and educational programs for families and communities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • APRN license in the State of Connecticut and Federal DEA and CT Controlled Substance Registration
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the Human Services field working with adults and adolescents
  • Experience providing counseling services to alcohol and drug-dependent clients
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
