Job Summary

AssistRx is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising daily technician tasks and performance levels, monitoring pharmacy workflow queues and phone service levels, and creating pharmacy technician schedules and schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily technician tasks and performance levels, applying operating discipline across both front-end and fulfillment.
  • Monitor pharmacy workflow queues and phone service levels.
  • Create pharmacy technician schedules and schedule adherence.
  • Provide weekly huddles to cover communications, process opportunities, and changes.
  • Complete monthly 1-on-1s to evaluate workload, performance, and correction.
  • Complete daily timecard reviews, quarterly performance reviews, and annual performance reviews of strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain team morale and employee retention by serving as a point of contact for questions and concerns.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certificates, licenses, and registrations required:
    • Florida Pharmacy Technician License
    • National Pharmacy Technician Certification - preferred
  • Computer skills preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Teams)
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years' experience as a pharmacy technician supervisor required.
    • 5+ years' experience as a pharmacy technician supervisor preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, preferred.
