About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Walmart's finance team as a Senior Manager, Finance. As a key member of the Sam's Tech Finance team, you will be responsible for supporting key investment decisions, leading core finance activities, and providing robust financial analysis to estimate tech costs for new technology investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influence & Leadership: Leverage industry knowledge, business acumen, and relationship building skills to influence and drive results.
  • Decision Support: Provide financial analysis to estimate tech costs for new technology investments, evaluating tradeoffs for new features & functionality.
  • Planning & Prioritization: Lead annual operating plan and long-range plan, partnering with stakeholders to ensure efficient and optimal allocation of resources to align business needs with the company's financial goals.
  • FP&A: Guide business partners to deliver on current year P&L goals, lead monthly close and forecasting, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to Tech leadership during monthly business reviews.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
  • 1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
  • 1 year's supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Analyzing data and interpreting results, Microsoft Office, Working in a large, complex, matrixed organization.
  • Masters: Business Administration.
Benefits

Walmart offers a competitive salary range of $90,000.00-$180,000.00, annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock. Benefits include 401(k) match, stock purchase plan, paid maternity and parental leave, PTO, multiple health plans, and more.
