About the Position:

The Center for Evidence-Based Corrections is seeking a highly skilled and experienced administrative professional to support the research efforts of the Center. As an Administrative Coordinator for Research and Development, you will provide executive-level administrative support to the Center's Director, management, and coordination of all aspects of the financial, personnel, and program administration of the Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Center's Director, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the Center's financial administration, including budgeting, accounting, and procurement.
  • Coordinate and manage the Center's personnel administration, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Center.
  • Collaborate with the Center's research team to develop and implement research projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including university administrators, faculty, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, public administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in a research or academic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field, such as business administration, public administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in research administration, including grant management and research compliance.
  • Knowledge of university policies and procedures, including those related to research, finance, and human resources.
