POSITION LEVELS

This engineering position is available at either the Mid-level or Senior Engineer tier. Please refer to the qualifications outlined below for each level.

Mid Level - $88,200 - $108,000

Senior Level - $115,200 - $141,000

Compensation ranges are annual and based on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The role involves executing advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. The incumbent will be responsible for making critical technical decisions and will possess a strong understanding of their functional discipline, along with detailed knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Deliver in-depth technical expertise to develop, oversee, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
  • Offer technical guidance and consultation through direct engagement to identify and resolve equipment and system challenges.
  • Manage engineering tasks comprehensively.
  • Execute engineering assignments as directed by supervisors, applying sound engineering principles.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and punctuality of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adhering to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and initiatives.
  • Propose equipment, innovative concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce costs, rectify design or material deficiencies, or comply with evolving codes or regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level E02 Engineer
    • B.S. in Engineering with 2+ years of experience in Nuclear or related engineering fields.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer
    • B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience.

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
