The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for developing, managing, and evaluating strategic and tactical long and short-term program plans and budgets for a comprehensive annual giving program. The incumbent directs communications, services, and solicitation activities that engage and encourage the participation of alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends of Fresno State to increase annual philanthropic support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual giving strategies and plans to increase philanthropic support
  • Direct communications, services, and solicitation activities to engage and encourage participation
  • Manage and evaluate program budgets and performance
  • Collaborate with advancement operations and other university units to achieve goals
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff and volunteers

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in annual giving, fundraising, or a related field. The candidate should have excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
