Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at Ecobat. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR department and implementing policies and procedures to support the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Manage employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with plant leaders to provide performance appraisal input and ensure timely completion of performance reviews
  • Organize and implement employee relations activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of progressive HR generalist experience with a minimum of 5 years' experience managing employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits administration, and training
  • 5+ years working in a unionized manufacturing environment with experience working directly with the union on grievances
  • Demonstrated confidence and leadership skills
  • Full knowledge of State and Federal labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High level computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. The employee will be required to stand for long periods and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
