POSITION SUMMARY
The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting credit union members through both inbound and outbound communication channels, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. This position serves as a vital link between members and credit union services, emphasizing superior customer care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to incoming calls from credit union members, delivering timely solutions and outstanding customer service.
- Authenticate caller identity in accordance with established security measures; provide guidance to members regarding their accounts.
- Enhance understanding of credit union processes and the handling of loan applications.
- Offer consistent support for online chat services and electronic payment systems.
- Oversee voice and email communications to fulfill member requests efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Positive demeanor, excellent communication abilities, and a preference for candidates with at least one year of customer service experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) is advantageous.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role is situated in a professional office environment, with occasional travel as needed.
